In fact, Knight dismissed the entire exhibition. Knight made some very valid points about What is art and what belongs in an art museum….I could have responded to him at the LA Times but I’d love to see a conversation here.
I might even agree that the photo of Hilary Swank isn’t art but Edward Steichen’s photograph of Anna May Wong is perfect….
