Just an idea: maybe this is Diana, goddess of the hunt. As you probably know, Actaeon happened upon her and her nymphs bathing. Seeing the goddess nude was a serious transgression, so she turned him into a stag and hunted him. It&#039;s probably not in Ovid&#039;s text, but I imagine she got dressed in the meantime!
