Those who can do, those who cant write about what others do, imagining they know. And turning artists into illustrators of academic ideas. ones that have no relevance to humanity. And so, you lose any audience, outside of that created from the overflowing hordes of art school types and artiste wannabes.

If this is about photography as a whole, just pick up a Life type magazine. If it is about photgraphy as art, of mind, body and soul, then you are doing a disservice, and eliminating it as a viable art form. Which sems to have happened long ago.
