		<description><![CDATA[Great post.  This was an eye-opener to those of us not in the museum world, but it certainly makes sense.

As an artist I don&#039;t spend as much time with other people&#039;s work as I sometimes would like.  Looking at art eventually leads to seeing, -really seeing,  and that is one of the great things about it.  

What a wonderful collection you have, enjoy many dates to come.]]></description>

It&#039;s good for the soul, and ultimately it will make you a better employee. You are working at LACMA for your love of the arts, and you should nurture that passion. Good luck!

Oh, and thank you for bringing it to my attention that I too have been neglecting my passion for art. 

It is time we all pushed down our cubicle walls and reconnected with our inner artist.]]></description>
