		<description><![CDATA[Whenever I&#039;d see Suzanne Muchnic&#039;s byline in the LA Times, I&#039;d immediately get anxious and hone in on it. She had a knack for putting together articles that struck me as rarely being anything but quite interesting and constructive. 

Also, if I&#039;m not mistaken, I believe she has contributed to the acquisition funds of LACMA in the past, and her name as a donor is even attached to at least one of the museum&#039;s artworks.

I hope the Los Angeles Times has enough sense to give as many freelancing duties as possible to Ms. Muchnic in the future, and that she&#039;ll have the time and energy to keep doing what&#039;s made her so valuable to the cultural scene. Otherwise, her absence in the local media will leave a large gap and make people like me very unhappy.]]></description>
