		<description><![CDATA[I was hired [1969] at the direction of Walter Hopps while he was acting director of the Corcoran Gallery of Art.  As a result I got to meet and assist Ed Keinholz, Robert &quot;Bob&quot; Irwin... while I never visited the Ferus Gallery it has become one of the influences in my art.  It certainly was a legendary gallery.]]></description>
