Seeing Chris Burdens “vision” Metropolis 2 on the internet I can only say: What a stupid vision! It is strikingly unoriginal and certainly not a vision in the sense of what future cities will actually look like. It certainly will not have cars racing aroudn at 200mph.

It reminds me of those banal books from the 60′s that painted colurful pictures of what future cities would look like… And it turned out very differently.

It’s a little boys electric railway and speedway dream come true. That’s all!
Art, hu? What is it actually telling us? It’s just banal and boring…
