Strange. they bought a video that has 3000 uncleared clips from films. So basically they own a film that is not really legally allowed to be shown without copyright clearance.. which this film does not have. Crazy world of Art.. This will be cracked down on soon once film distributors realize the commercial value of this pieces of art .

Dear Christine Y. Kim: I'm so happy and excited that LACMA has acquired this piece! I live in Seattle but am planning to take a trip to Los Angeles for a week or so to see the film in its entirety. How will it be viewed? Will I be able to bring a sleeping bag and camp out for 2-3 days? (I'm a sound sleeper, and will have no trouble sleeping while the film is going.) What about food? Etc. What an exciting idea! I was among the early viewers of Andy Warhol's "Sleep" -- this is going to be a similar milepost.
