A lovely surprise as I was visiting for Kubrik and Caravaggio before they are gone. Metropolis is one of my favorite films and the expressionist wing is perhaps my favorite permanent installation at LACMA.

I fell in love with the perfectly atmospheric music for the exhibit. It reminded me of Giorgio Moroder’s version of Metropolis set to contemporary new wave music in the 80′s and featuring Freddie Mercury. Would you be able to share the music credit as I sadly did not write it down. Brilliant exhibit.
